The UK Node of ELIXIR represents UK strengths in bioinformatics within ELIXIR and provides a route for UK bioinformatics resources to participate in ELIXIR. The UK node is made up of a number of organisations throughout the UK with the coordination office being located at Earlham Institute.
ELIXIR-UK provides platforms and guidance for research data management, reproducible data analysis, FAIR data and software management and related services, and standards. It offers cross-cutting and domain specific services, and provides data and software related training, fellowships and workshops. The Node leads many ELIXIR Communities and Focus Groups and participates in European consortia and international standards organisations.
